Open House Events

Open house is a successful service from Stonegate Estates whereby prospective buyers visit the property for sale on a single day or time slot. This is a comprehensive service which we have discovered is effective on many properties, apartments or houses, new builds or listed buildings, city centre locations or secluded countryside retreats.

HOW DOES AN OPEN HOUSE WORK?

We manage the whole process for you, from sending out invitations to our extensive buyer database (by post, email and telephone), to advertising your Open House in the local press and websites and staffing your home with one or more of the Stonegate Estates team throughout the event. By attracting multiple buyers to view your property at the designated time, we can showcase the buyer demand of your property and best of all, it’s fast, it's convenient and it works.

AN OPEN HOUSE IS A GREAT WAY TO SELL A HOME FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS:

  • Semi-serious buyers may be more inclined to attend an Open House as they can turn up on the day without a prior appointment.
  • Cautious buyers may be less intimidated by attending an Open House that is led by the agent and not the homeowner.
  • An Open House may be a good indicator on the level of interest by the number of people who attend.
  • Benefit from the additional marketing that an Open House will bring.
  • Enjoy a potentially high number of prospective buyers through the door in a short space of time, reducing the stress of having to regularly dress your home before normal viewings and arrange mutually convenient times.

INDIVIDUAL VIEWING APPOINTMENT

Some buyers prefer to view alone, sometimes after an Open House event. We will accompany those viewings and provide constructive feedback thereafter, whenever possible. Unless the property is vacant and we are holding a key, these will be by appointment only with you.
